Im going to see a new pdoc and was wondering if I should tell them about previous history and meds I was on. I just want to know if it matters or if the doc is just going to evaluate me and put me on whatever they think is best not based on past history. Im worried and anxious

I would tell them all your past, what you have taken and whether it "worked" or not and whether you liked it or not and what you want/think about the whole thing, etc. You are in charge! It is your healthy, your body, your choice whether to try what they offer after they explain what they are offering/think, etc.

Thank you Perna. I was under the impression that you shouldn't go to a pdoc telling them what meds you want to be on. So I was feeling that I had no say. Thanks for reassuring me that it is my health and my body.
