Hi, because I have some problems with inattention, controlling emotions etc. I encountered this forum and check some possible solutions so I went to nearest clinic where they have biofeedback and I have two questions:
1. Results from qeeg (28y male): delta waves increased over whole brain, especially in Fz; Theta amplitudes increased in frontal lobes, mainly in Fz; Theta/Beta increased in Fz: 3,35 (>2); Theta/SMR in Fz 4,25 (>2) also in central C3 2,18; Cz 2,05; Alpha distribution Ok, too little participation in spectrum (?) below 18%; Beta SMR too low in frontal and central lobes 5-8% instead of recommended 10-13%, in Fz 5,1%, wrong amplitudes smrsmr, also wrong beta and beta2 amplitudes. Anyone knows what conditions could cause these results? I have social anxiety (treated with CBT with zoloft (discountinued few months ago) with some success). I am asking because in my country ADD in adults is very rare treated and generally little known and I would like to know if this results justify visit to psychiatrist. 2. Anyone also feeling bad after biofeedback and cannot focus even few hours after sessions? I feel very tired after biofeedback and I don't know if this is normal or something is wrong with treatment etc. |
