Hi,

I've been taking Ritalin for almost a year, but I keep my pills in my old Concerta's box. I keep my prescription with me all the time.

Would it be a problem for medication's quality and lifespan when I keep them in that box?

I wouldn't think that it would affect the quality or lifespan. I keep mine in there original container just because I tend to get confused if I don't.

It shouldn't affect the quality/lifespan etc. The only issue I can see is if for some reason you somehow get searched by police and are found to have a controlled substance without the correct prescription. Not that they couldn't check and get everything straightened out, but it would probably be a big hassle.

I don't think it'd be a problem, I don't carry my pills often. But thanks for the warning.
