Hello. I am waiting on an AD/HD assessment at the moment, but. I have been noticing I am more fidgety lately. I have always be fidgety, but in the past month or two, it has been a lot worse. Like my legs are getting tired from fidgeting too much is how bad it is at the moment. What has helped you stop fidgeting? I sometimes distract my hands, which works most of the time, but sometimes I am fidgeting both my hands and my legs. It makes not only me annoyed, but the people around me annoyed by how much I am fidgeting. Does anyone has the same problem? Thanks for the response

Have you heard of tangle toys? I love them- google them. But honestly, any sort of fidget toy works, even if it's just a pencil or something. As for the fidgeting, when I'm not my medication, I honestly just try to avoid situations where I am forced to sit still. If I can't however, I sometimes play games in my head to distract myself. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Hope your assessment yields some helpful results!

Yes. I love tangle toys. They are so fun. I had one, but then it broke and I was really sad about it. Sometimes though, even when my hands are busy, I fidget my legs too. Like I'm bouncing everywhere type of fidgety. I have to sit all day at school. I bounce my legs, that's what I mean by fidget. It distracts me and sometimes other people. Thank you. My assessment should be starting soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
