Organizing closet...help!

So it's that time of year again...winter clothes out, summer clothes in. Should be easy, right? It's my worst nightmare! I've worked myself into a frenzy, everything is worse than when I started, and I don't want to continue. I did a good job eliminating old/unwanted undergarments and shoes. My problem is I try to put my clothes into too many different categories. Instead of long sleeve/short sleeve or work/casual, I think like this..."this is technically a winter garment, but I could still wear it on a cool night. Maybe I should just put it away to have more clothes for summer. Where would I even put it? It can be casual or for work. Would it go with "this" group of jackets or "this" group of outerwear? Oh great, I forgot about all the summer clothes I had stored away. I haven't worn that in a couple years, but I can't get rid of it! Ugh, I'm overwhelmed....I need a break."

Plus, this summer I will be 7 months pregnant. Do I even bring out the summer clothes that I love and can't wear this summer? Should I leave packed away? Or maybe I should just get rid of them. Since I'm going to be a mom, tossing the mini skirt might not be a bad idea. BUUUUTTTT....what if I go to the beach NEXT year and want to wear some of this stuff. It would be acceptable for beach wear...and I really just don't want to get rid of it.

i'd just go through it all and when you get to each item, think to yourself.. okay, well, am i seriously going to wear this again?. do i know someone who might actually want this, or need this
