So I was banging my head a few days ago and to help calm me down they tried putting both hands over my ears and pressing tightly and weirdly it helped? How is this so?

Hello WillowElf: The Skeezyks has no idea why pressing both hands over your ears while you bang your head would "help". But I want to warn you that banging your head is a really BAD idea! I don't know how much you do this, but it can cause you to develop ringing in the ears (tinnitus) that will never go away. There is no cure. This can also cause you to develop one or more detached retinas, I believe. I know this because I have done this & I have, or have had, both of these problems. Please find a way to stop this dangerous practice...
