No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves. |

This is my site. The posts are slow to come because I do a lot of research, and I also collect resources (on the right side of the blog) I would love feedback. I am going to post soon on it about some of the different drugs out there (just from a layman's perspective).
let me know what you think! (sorry in advance for the problems with the images on the site. I'm working on it.) http://attentiondeficitblog.blogspot.com/ |

I'm not diagnosed (I wish....seriously....maybe i'd feel normal and not crazy/falling behind/scatterbrained/forgetful/etc) but a book I found gave me alot of help with various parts of my life....even though that list where we're supposed to write down everything is kept being lost. lol Yeah, i laugh at myself alot....between bouts of frustration.... lol
Ok, that book....its called: "10 Simple Solutions to ADD: How to overcome Chronic Distraction & Accomplish your Goals" and it's by Stephanie Moulton Sarkis, PH.D. Ok, despite the fact that I'm still a sufferer (no, i'm not S&M about it...lol) and so maybe the books not perfect, but it does give loads of helpful advice. Now....if only I could remember it all. lol But still, great book with great advice. Recommend it to all. |

Excellent article available at Medscape:
Managing ADHD in an Adult With Psychiatric Comorbidity Not sure if you have to register to gain access but registration is free. I've found some helpful information via the Medscape site's Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Resource Center http://www.medscape.com/resource/adhd

The books my ADHD Life Coach recommended are: More Attention, Less Deficit - Success Strategies for Adults with ADHD by Dr. Ari Tuckman (He is having a free discussion on the 29th at addclasses.com) Is It You, Me, or Adult ADD? (there is more to this title) by Gina Pera I am getting the first for me, the second for my husband (who is adrift on a sea of estrogen in an ADHD ship as me and both our daughters are ADHD). I'll let you know how those are. Some sites (mainly for women) that I have found that are good are: momswithadhd.com womenwithadd.com (Or ADHD, can't remember right now) These are run by life coaches who specialize in ADHD. ADDitude.com - this is a magazine and forum, though the site is not very ADHD friendly with the ads, but it is the price of doing business like that. Hope this helps!
