I have been in complete desperation over issues I have been dealing with related to my 17 year old daughter's adhd she has been dealing with since she was 6 years old. I would love to hear more info if you have done any research on meds. She has been on Vyvanse, Mydayis, Metadate, Focalin, Concerta and Strattera to try to treat her ADHD. The amphetamines have have been effective in her concentration, but have caused major issues with behavior, irritability, anger, etc. Most recently, the Mydayis caused her to have an emotional breakdown that flucuated between sadness, anger, irrationality, etc. The Focalin and Concerta were just very much less effective in treating her ADHD as she still had concentration issues and hyperactivity, but the anger and irritability seemed so much better. She is also on Wellbutrin and Zoloft for anxiety and depression. I am so desperate to find something that works without all the side effects. Please help if you have any ideas.

I am on Ritalin and provigil. Adult female. Provigil helps mellow the spikes of Ritalin and help with focus. I also take a half pill of Ritalin four hours before bed. This helps the crash. My prescriptions are generic.
