I've been told that since I have ADHD I probably have OCD or at least traits of it!

I feel like hyperactivity (As a kid) is forcefully shunned (By adults) + Being forced to pay attention (When you can't) so it has to eventually manifest in some other way... OCD, hypervigilance, anxiety.. And u get depressed about it.

When a person has two different diagnoses, and both are correct, they are “comorbid”. It’s very common. My primary diagnosis is Bipolar 1 disorder. But I have comorbid ADHD. The two are connected, I’m assuming at the genetic level. Turns out that ADHD is far more common in bipolar the population than in the general population. I’ve never read up on the OCD ADHD connection. Sounds real.
