I joined this adhd group and they said that if you set up the environment to get stuff done properly, youíre more likely to get stuff done. I canít afford the paying programme so Iím going to try and replicate it.
Maybe someone else will find this helpful. The group definitely helped me!

The environment is the 3 ďSsĒ -soon, someone checking and stakes.

Soon, well I will make this a daily thread.

Someone checking, will be anyone who joins and who reads this. We can post screenshots of what weíve done (I donít know how easy that is).

Stakes, this thread provides me with accountability, if I donít achieve something I will have to admit it.

Feel free to provide encouragement to each other

My goals for today are to make 2 more slides for my presentation and attend my conference.

The conference is all afternoon and evening, hence why Iím not going to manage more than 2 slides for my presentation.

I have actually managed to do another two slides already. But I need to make notes on them too.
Iím up to 15ish slides. Theyíre mostly done but some I will still need to do some work on some.

I donít know how to post a screenshot just now, but I will check and manage that another day

My goal for today is to read another article and make 2 more slides for my presentation.

Hopefully I will manage to do this this evening as I going to another city to meet some friends for lunch.
Itís an hour and a half drive so Iíll be back later in the afternoon/early evening. So I plan on doing my presentation work then.

So I never made another two slides, instead I spent the day with friends, then visited my granny, then I drove home and spent quality time with my husband.
Iím ok with that. But it feels like itís hanging over me, so I will endeavour to work on it in the morning!
My plan is to try and finish my presentation by the end of tomorrow.

Iím going to break things down into sections today.

Before lunch I would like to have read a paper and made another slide or two.

Then Iíll see!

If I donít break things down I get easily overwhelmed and I donít do things.

Hereís hoping I get this done this morning. Iím going to set aside 10- 10:45 to do this.

Then I have a shopping delivery coming!

Itís 10:35 and I have completed my goal!

Next goal will be from 12-13:00 and that will be to read another article and make another 2 slides.

In the meantime, Iím going to tidy to tidy some things and get some coffee before my delivery comes!

So itís 4pm and I have 26 slides.
Iíve got two more articles to read and another 4 slides to finish. But I think thatís me mostly done!

I just need to organise my notes for the presentation too.

Yay! Hopefully Iíll get some of this done tonight!

Excellent!!! Yes, please give it a go @Brentus !! The group really helped me start projects I would leave to the last minute! Or start ones that I just keep putting off. It just helps provide that environment for change I guess!

So Iím finished my slides, and Iím almost finished my notes on each slide- just have to do the last 3!

Iím so pleased I havenít had to stay up all night tonight doing it and I can get a good nights sleep tonight before presenting.

Iím not too nervous about it but I think I will be tomorrow.

My goal for today is just to finish my notes and do a run through a couple of times!

So I had my presentation today, hence not setting any goals this morning.
I had some technical issues with my permissions and screen sharing which was a bit of a fluster!
But I managed it and I got good feedback.
Iím so pleased itís over, I just wish I wasnít so technically unsavvy!

Iím going to start on my to do list tomorrow. Itís grown so big this week but I had to prioritise my presentation.
Hopefully Iíll get on top of a few things! Some things are work related, other things are life related.

So Iíve managed to have a sleep, hopefully I will be able to complete a work related task that I didnít complete this week when Iím back at work tonight!



Iím a bit stressed about work, but itís just two nights Iím doing!
Itís just a shame because I havenít managed to spend quality time with my husband much because he was working this week (so was I) then I was off Friday but he was working now Iím trying to sleep and heís off. And then I wonít see him for the rest of the weekend. I finish Monday morning but heís back working then!
Iím going to see if I can spend a couple of hours with him this afternoon. Hopefully we will be able to!
That can be another goal for the day!

I managed to complete 3 tasks that were on my extra to do list!
It was quite a busy night though. I have a bunch more stuff to try and do tonight. But my plan is to do one extra task from my to do list on top of my work.

I managed to do this task! Yay!!!

I still have a lot to do, but I will manage next week.

Iím on a rest day today after being on nightshift then Iím away tomorrow! Iím so excited for my trip!

Iím going to take a book with me and try to read at least a chapter per 2 nights (theyíre big chapters and I donít really have the concentration to do more)

Iíve got a training course this afternoon which I canít really be bothered with.
But Iíll attend and do it!
