My name is Debi and I was dianosed with ADD/Depression about 11 yrs ago. The depression is ups and downs which I could do with out. I just started taking 10ml. of adderall but it seems it was making me feel really down. Not sure if this can do this or not, has any one else experienced this? I sometimes have a hard time really trusting regular MD's. I am glad to find this area and have spent a good part of the day reading alot of post. Im new to this area......Need advice

Just a thought, maybe you need a separate prescription for the depression. The Adderall might be helping the ADD but not the depression. I am on a separate medicine for depression and started taking medicine for the ADD. I am a totoal wreck without my Wellbutrin (for depression). I can't function on anything but how miserable I feel. For me it is more important to control the depression then I'll work on the ADD. I could be totally wrong, this is just what I've experienced. Hope you start feeling better soon.

10mg is a very low dose. I do not remember it making me feel down. I was taking 60mg when my doctor changed meds. I am the opposite of scatterbrained. Once I found out about the ADD, I knew that this was my first priority. I believe that the ADD just fueled the depression, anxiety, etc. I believe that if I can get a handle on the ADD, then I will be capable of dealing with the rest. Just my way of thinking.

Debi, keep us updated and welcome.

emwell...I too am brand new...and am excited about talking with people who know how i feel inside! I agree with you in saying the ADD probably brought the depression and anxiety out, and if handled the latter can be mastered. Good luck to all of us!

Hi Debi, I am new as well and have been reading a great deal of people’s posts, and I am having the same problem as you. All I can tell you is hang in there, through the ups and downs, almost all of us seem to have similar problems. I do hope you find your solution soon.

Just checking in to see how everyone in this thread is doing. I am getting over pneumonia so when my doctor asks me how I feel, all I can say is tired. Tough to tell if the Staterra is working or not.
