I am new here. I am new to ADD. My daughter was diagnosed in December and I was diagnosed yesterday. Personally I am thrilled with the diagnosis as it explains SO much!!!

I am excited to be here and to learn more for my family's sake.

Welcome to the forums! I hear many adults that are diagnosed with ADD saying they are relieved because it explains a lot. Glad you are getting help!

You appear to have had the same reaction to the ADD diagnosis as I did. I was ecstatic for weeks. Finally I had a diagnosis that made sense to me. I spend a lot of time learning everything I can about the disorder and how to live with it.
