A friend advised me to quit my group and join an Aspergic support group. But I still have some misgivings.
Thanks for your reply. I am seriously considering you idea of attending the Aspergic group. However, we live in a society designed by non-Aspergics for non-Aspergics. Most non-Aspergics are not interested in learning about AS. My current group - for all its faults - brings me face-to-face with that challenge. Wouldn't I be running away from the problem by retreating to an Aspergic group? I have done my best to create an Aspergic lifestyle, with considerable success. But I don't want to live as an alien in my own country. It is wrong to force a paraplegic to cope with stairs. But cope he must, until the ramps are put in place.
