Hi

I am new to the site :-) My 10 year old son was diagnosed with Asbergers last year and since then I have been researching what this means and how we can help him cope better in the world.

Would really like to chat to people to understand their experiences and how I may be able to support him and our family .

My eight year old brother has been seeing a psychologist for the past few months, and he's been all but officially diagnosed with Asperger's. In addition to that, my family and I have reason to believe that I may have it as well, though most likely to a lesser extent. Next time my mother takes my brother to visit the psychologist, she plans to set up an appointment for me as well. If it turns out I do in fact have Asperger's, I could potentially help you understand how your son sees things and share my experiences, be they from me or from helping to take care of my brother.
