One hour ago I had a phone conversation with my mother and she proposed me to go with her to see if we can find some new shoes for me. Being in a hypomanic state, I agreed, so in about one more hour I'll be in the shop. I haven't planed this, but I don't feel "funny" at the moment either. Hopefully I'll remain the same until I'm back. Maybe after this short break I will be much more flexible. I don't know why I'm posting this though.

I think you are posting it because it is probably a big deal to accept an invitation to go shopping and weird to not feel apprehensive about going. I hope your trip is successful. take care.

Thank you Well, it's over now. I went and bought two pairs of shoes. One of them I don't like very much, it's too "modern" for my taste, plus it's a popular model among young people, which once again sucks because I hate my generation. I had an anger outburst at home though, but it's been caused most likely by my mother refusing to give my father a call and announce him something. It wasn't a bad experience though, I might learn to control my 'addiction' to routines in the future.

I really hate shopping. Having to decide what clothes/shoes I should wear in front of a bunch of people and hovering store clerks makes me feel like a ******* atrocity exhibition.
Thanks for this!

Indeed! That and the warm sensation I experience, probably due to nervousness. And the money spent on clothes, on my clothes! Seriously, why spend so much money and time with me?

You did well by going outside of your comfort zone. Not an easy thing to do at all.
And I agree about being totally confused when others insist on spending money on me for things like clothes. I wish I could just wear the same thing ever single day and never change it. I was always jealous of the cartoon characters like Nancy who had one style of dress in her closet - all the same. Ahhhhhhh....

What bothers me is when they (the clothes) cost a lot, like 50 euros for a pair of shoes. Otherwise I like getting new clothes as long as they don't look "modern".
