I am faced with a problem in regards to getting another flat. It has nothing to do with my charges, although I am not sure if or how they would factor into the issue.
The difficulty I have finding another flat is that it would take too long to get a flat through the council. You have to bid for a long time and I think that is too much of a long term thing. But I am not working. I've no savings and the rate of Disability Living Allowance I receive means I would not get enough housing benefit to cover renting a place privately. I am not fond of the atmosphere in my family's house. It is clammy, cluttered and unhygienic. I'm stuck in a bedroom all day. I'm getting online via a mobile connection as typing on an Xbox 360 app is hard with no USB keyboard plugged in. At night, the headphones don't reach far. My bed has no mattress either. Right now, I sleep on a bed that folds out from a chair. It is not intended for sitting on. My old man can be a whingebag and he is a bit funny about me using the laptop he uses in the kitchen. My laptops are being held in the sheriff clerk's office and I have court again in November. Hopefully, I'll get my belongings back shortly thereafter. It would be an expensive move to buy yet another laptop. |

I'm not supposed to use the Internet at all for now, but I needed it for my music and for YouTube.
