I heard from my mother, who heard from her therapist that there is an Aspie meetup group in my city, so last night I went on Meetup.com and looked them up. I joined the group and their next meetup is tomorrow night, which I RSVP'd. I'm excited and nervous.

Yay Joined an Aspie Meetup group!. That's good! Have you done something like this before? I don't have any tips for you on what to do or help with some nerves about it, but one thing I can say is don't think about it too much because thinking about it too much may make you want to back out of going because of nerves. Relax and hope it goes well Joined an Aspie Meetup group!.

That is great. I am just realizing that I have struggled with being an Aspie my whole life. I am also going to seek out some groups in my area.

Have you heard of GRASP? Do they have such a group in your area?
Thanks for this!
