I don't want it to get dirty because it will be in my mouth after a bit.. and just shoving it in my backpack does not seem clean enough.. and puting it in a bag is a huge no no because who knows where that bag had been.. and it's plastic after all.. so someone has an idea?

Perhaps purchase a pouch or box with a closeable lid suitable for the purpose... something made of a washable material...
