I'll keep it brief. Social services are still not really willing to help me with much, like with my acting. They all act like it's a waste of their funding or time, yet it's something I really wanted to do with my life, but my anxiety makes it hard to go by myself. And they claim if I get into employment seeking from one of their affiliates, that can help to fund my acting pursuits, but it is only a hobby, because my city isn't really about paid acting jobs. That's got zero to do with my support. I've already tried to tell them nicely I require support workers to attend a film set with me, but it's like they struggle to grasp what I am asking, and I said I'll pay for support only when it's needed, but they want to involve a social worker to help with the costs and then the fun begins, since I know my social worker already wasted 2 years of my tme. Do they secretly not like being connected to clients when it involves work stuff?
Either way, I pledged like £200 to be in a film. It started shooting recently, but I won't be needed until next month. I'm too anxious to go alone and I'm never kept in the loop much about anything either. In fact, the other night, my sister and I were going to be filmed. Neither of us had credit. The people were late. We left. We would have gone on Facebook, but I cannot get Wi-Fi outdoors on secure networks, so we were screwed over (partly our fault for having failed to ask for the director's number), and I felt browned off so much. He used us in other scenes, but my sister would have got a bigger part and she actually feels ill a lot. It's a gamble whether she'll be okay for the next time.
Why can't people just specify things better?
