I tried to get a genetic testing or a Chromosomal microarray (CMA) ordered to see whether I had high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder from my psychiatrist but she wouldn't allow it because she thinks I'm getting tests done to possibly prove her wrong? Which I'm not. I was born with an extra digit or thumb and wanted to see the genetic factors within my DNA. How long does it take to get a complete diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and do they have other ways to evaluate an adult of 30 years old? So far I have ADHD, Schizoaffective, OCD, and Social Anxiety/Phobias. I've read that female autism differs from male autism. I know I fit the criteria of female Autism Disorder.
