It took many years, but I am pleased to say that I finally know what the cause of my being "different" is. Three years ago I was diagnosed with Asperger's, and a relative wrote a note to my counselor who put it in my file at the psych center, and he said several things mentioned (I do not know what they are, nor do I want to) that I did growing up points to Asperger's.

I wish that it would have been known about in the 70's and 80's.

Congratulations on this achievement. I still have no idea what was going on with me all those many decades. And I don't expect I ever will. Well... I know I never will because I'm not even trying to find out anymore. I think it would be nice to have something I could point to & say that is what it was all about. Hope knowing what you know now helps.
