I went past an old high school pal on my route to the office. I just gave her a wave. They added me on face book by night time. They said I was weird because I chose to do sport outside of school. Hark at her for throwing stones in glass houses. I would talk in Scots slang in txt. She said it reminded her of African American attitude. I think it was more me thinking I was cool and keeping people at arms length. It was also quicker to shorten texts in slang. My other pals would have jumped at the chance to take the p^ss so my texts were obviously readable and Scottish. My mum used to give me a ticking off for saying doric terms saying I sounded like a roughian.
