I am one. It was declared when I was 10. Even my shrink agrees. Perhaps it means I should shut up and embrace my boring personality.

Honestly I think if your shrink has labeled you as boring then he or she isn't a very good shrink since they aren't supposed to judge their clients. I assume you are autistic or have some traits of autism due to the section this is posted in. Do you have a special interest, one thing you are really passionate about? If so try to find people with this same interest, maybe through a group, club, or online forum. It is likely people with similar interests won't find you boring.

There is always something that Didgee needs to fix. I hate it. Why can't I just embrace my boring nature?

I've been diagnosed with ASD. Yes, I have passions and am a member of a club. I managed to make a few friends there. Unfortunately I had to move to another city for school, where there is no local chapter. __________________ Dx: Didgee Disorder |

Hi! Can I just say, what really would a boring person be considered, like? Like, boring to one person..just might be fun, to someone else. One of my old friends, when I first met him, I thought he seemed boring, because he was very responsible & he had a structured life, he followed routines We complemented each other perfectly because I'm irresponsible & wild. He taught me a lot. Underneath his quiet, boring personality, he was very smart & a gifted guitarist. I had more fun with him, than anyone else I'd ever known. Laughter & fun. I bet that u have many awesome qualities, hidden from view...until u can open up with another person who u really get along with. Me, I don't have any friends today, for many years, now. But I'm not boring. I bet u aren't, either. Not everyone's personalities click in sync, together. U might be exciting to someone else, What would be boring, is if everyone was alike! Yawn, lol..

You're not boring, you just haven't found the right person with whom to share your light. Just means you know your worth, and the value of those who would dare put you down. Don't be like them, don't see yourself through their filter.

I don't really know. My best guess is someone who is quiet and doesn't know how to maintain a conversation especially the fun variety. Perhaps it is someone who asks a lot of questions. Quote:
You are right. Once a person gets to know me my behavior is longer constrained by worry. Apparently I am interesting, even though I often don't feel it. Obviously all the years of bullying and being accused of being a boring creature has harmed me a lot more than I thought. I don't have a lot of friends either. The few I have are treasured. There is one who is a complete opposite of me. We get along well. Thank you. __________________ Dx: Didgee Disorder |

When I was 35 a gang of friends raised eachother to sort of be slightly manic and don't give a crap about social rules. We had a lot of fun. Anyone put into that mill would have come out talkative and without social fears.
I blame them for some of the craziness I am still today. No man is an island. __________________ |
