I received my official ASD diagnosis yesterday at the age of 32. I guess I feel relief. I had a lot of burn out from hiding stims and behaviors. The psychologist who diagnosed me said he considers my disorder as “ quite pronounced”, but that I have developed coping strategies that kept it hidden. I am ok with being Autistic but I worry it might make it hard for me to get a job.
