I'm not sure whether to be happy, concerned or relieved...
but thanks to the advice of a new Therapist that suggested I see an Attention Specialist, I have confirmed ASD Level 1 (Asperger's Syndrome). It took until age 45 to figure out what was "wrong" with me, and now I know. I've been reading all kinds of books and blogs about it. I want to know everything and learn coping mechanisms of course. I wish I had known earlier... but glad to know now. |

I am glad you were finally able to get a diagnosis. Forty five years is a long time to be left in the dark. So sorry you were burden with that!

The diagnosis was definitely life changing. I wouldn't be where I am now if I hadn't known why I experience the world differently.
