My son just turned 23. I’ve always suspected that he’s on the spectrum. He is in college and getting grades above 100%. I tried to take him to be evaluated for autism as a teenager but he refused to go. He doesn’t have insurance right now so he can’t be evaluated but I’ve just had this feeling.

The county mental health center diagnosed my daughter. They're sliding scale. Also look into the university he'll go to for wait list times. He maybe able to get medical and EBT if his Dr or old pediatrician can write that he's getting evaluated.
