I joined Nanowrimo again in November and finished this time. It's all there, beginning, middle and end. Now I just hope my friend/editor will add some final touches, then I will of course try to get it published, but if not, it will be spread in other ways.

Congratulations! Well done. It's fantastic that you are writing at such a young age. Would you consider posting an excerpt on the website? Again great job!

I'm soon 50 but thanx. I've translated a small part into English but I don't think I will do the rest. And not a lot of action in that part.
I started writing when I was 8 though so... maybe I did start young. My first novel I wrote at 14, but for some reason I never finished it. My first finished novel I wrote at age 19. __________________ |

It's a young adult novel about a guy that is somehow dragged into a fight against the subterranians, together with a very quirky woman. We have a lot of stories about the little ones under ground (trolls, elves etc) in my culture, but here something really made them mad. They basically manifest by making ground into swampy quicksand type goo, earthquakes, sinkholes and other lovely things.

I've written five full novels. Many that are quite near finish. I'll try publishing it the normal way first of course, but I don't find it very likely. But if it happens and I'm former unpublished I have no say in layout or cover image. I know people who printed their own stuff so at least libraries could have them. That is rather cool, been thinking of it. But it probably will end up an e-book.
It will take a while though. Friend never even read the last one she was gonna help with, but this time she seems much more prone to reading it, I have another test reader as well. If I'll ever do an excerpt I will have to find some perfect part. Not sure what that would be. I tried google translate it for fun but it put my main character living in a tree for once of the many cool translation errors. Anyone is free to receive the google translated mess. Just PM, but it is basically not readable. __________________ |

barnesandnoble.com usually shares an excerpt of the first six to eight pages of the book. It's enough to give the reader a sense of setting, characters, and conflict within the story.

That's awesome Jimi! You know you can self-publish an ebook on Amazon. I know some people who have done that. I think you have to pay for the publishing and might not get much money back. But that will get it out there.
