I used to work as a schoolteacher. I don't know about good jobs for AvPD, but that's one you should definitely avoid and no one will blame you if you do. Itvs just not for those who aren't ready for it and requires lots and lots of socializing. Even worse, for me that wasn't the deal breaker. It was having to be in a position of authority. I'm the kind of person who works best if she's told what to do and when to do it, not vice versa.

Please don't take me for a complete idiot, but I often think I could fancy working at a funeral home or morgue. I have nothing against the dead. They don't scare me like the living do. It is not about some shallow and morbid curiosity, rather about me longing for silence and peace while having the chance to make myself useful. (I don't romanticize these kinds of jobs, but I don't mind that there are certain things that aren't too pleasant.)
I really don't know how insane this sounds. What do you guys think? |

If there's a job you really want, go for that. Don't let avpd stop you.
