Hola people! I have a serious problem. Had AVPD my whole life and always trying to avoid gatherings. Now lately last 8 months I have been working part time trying to function, but the social part is very difficult! And it has been planned for quite some time now to have a christmas party for everybody at work (incl. their wifes/husbands) So I have planned out this perfect plan to avoid this event, call in the day of the party and say that my grandmother has had a stroke and is probably at the end of her life...saying that I have to visit her in the hospital and take care of different things...and so this is what I did, today.
And suddenly listening to the radio the say weather forecast for this THURSDAY, WTF?!?!? I thought it was friday today, and the party is of course on friday...so now I have really ****ed up....please any good advice?? |

Well, I guess you are calling in for two days then.
It probably would have been a lot easier to just have gone to work and complained of your stomach hurting.... and then go home and give someone a call and say that you started throwing up so you aren't going to attend. You will probably have a lot of people asking about your grandmother for the next few weeks. __________________ "The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things.
