I am off work today. Great time to get started on the holiday thing, right?
I don't think it's going to happen.
There is too much. I can't decide on anything.
We don't even have a Christmas tree.
My family will realize this year that I can't be present for festivities anymore.

Well you can do what I do - let holidays & other unavoidable events run on their own fuel - in other words, I'm there (physically) - present & accounted for. Then after a big family deal they can all hee & haw & I will keep myself busy doing the dishes. This way I kill two birds with one stone - I'm by myself but participating. Works well for me. Try it!
