Even though I've never been officially diagnosed with AvPD I have almost all the symptoms and I've been this way every since I can remember and being bullied when I was a kid didn't help.
I always feel that people don't like me or I'm a burden on others. I even feel that my therapist can't stand me. |

I hear you - I also don't have an actual diagnosis, although my therapist believes that I have this too.

Today is my birthday and not one person says happy birthday, no card or anything. I don't mean to sound childish and I don't care about a cake or a party or gifts, but when its other peoples birthday I go out of my way to do something but when it comes to mine its like I'm completely worthless, totally forgotten. In my mind its proof that people don't like me.

i can TOTALLY understand you. my birthday was like the saddest day ever. my mom had to ask people from her work to send me cards.. i know the reason that i get no cards or bithday wishes is because i talk to no one and isolate myself, but still it feels bad.
