Have you ever had a look at the "coping with emotions" subforum?
It was a discovering for me. You know what happen, as an avoidant I'm very easily overwhelmed by feelings. The good ones or the bad ones.

There are some interesting articles where tips to overcome situations when feelings are ruling your thoughts and your life are offered.

One of the main point I read is that the first step is to recognise that you are being a prey of a negative feeling and you have to identify what feeling it is.
I have difficulties even to identify what I am feeling in a moment.

I am glad that you went to the emotions subforum! There are many ways to learn and grow on this website and if you have picked up on something there it's a good thing.
Thanks for this!
