Guys, I want to recommend you a book. I don't know if you know it. It's called "Toxic people" by Bernardo Stamateas. I was researching and I think there is an edition in English.
I really liked this book because it offers two perspectives: on one hand, what to do when we find a toxic person in your lives and on the other hand, what to do when we are being the toxic person.
The author preffers to talk about toxic emotions rather than toxic people bc who could be a toxic person for you, it's a right person for me.

It's not my intention to wake up distrust in you but to give you an insight about how avoiding some people who could take advantages of others who may seem weaker or have psychological issues.

I recalled I had this thread here.
I want to share something with you. An improvement.

I'm pretty proud of myself. Yesterday, I went away from a toxic person (at least) for me and said No. I caught myself looking for justifications ( everybody is good, people don't have why to lie...). I realized of what I was doing by making excuses, stopped for a moment and wondered: let's see, what my guts are telling me "go away? Or at least, set bounderies, emotional and physical bounderies?", so do it.

My dignity and my goals are intact.

Hopeful this could inspire you.

Dear Azul
I feel that as long there is 'toxic waste' in our environment, I will be sensitive to it.
Thank you for the book suggestion, and for sharing.

Jade

You're welcome, honey!
It's helping me a lot for both: be ready to detect a toxic person or simply a person who I don't want in my life and on another hand, to avoid falling in toxic behaviours myself.
I think everyone can have a toxic behaviour for another person.

I want to add as well that, when someone who doesn't have good intentions knows about you having psychological problems, he or she seems to have a radar to jump on you as sharks.
