I don't know how anyone manages to live in this world without getting triggered, I get triggered by sounds, smells, people - mostly if not all due to my picking up energies that are incongruent with nature. Mostly artificial sounds and smells, and mostly robotic, matrix-like Mr. Smith types set me off completely. To the point where I just run like a hunted deer.
So I've always opted for open, quiet spaces away from humanity. Looking for that setting once again as I have to move. Where would your ultimate place of dwelling be and what would that look, feel like? |

I would like to live in a quiet, new condo that is Oceanside view. I'd like a nice-sized balcony, 8th floor, interior elevators, nicely-sized pool overlooking a private beach. I'd be able to bring my three Maine Coon cats. I'd like an interior workout gym and a library for condo owners. I'd prefer the condo owners to be older. Screaming, hyper children make me rattled.
I had this prior to becoming a divorced single mom on SSDI...that's why my description is so specific lol I also would love a home in North Carolina's mountains. Quiet but close enough to drive into town for provisions. Either locale would be great! The beach is my top choice. Sitting on the balcony with a book and hearing/seeing the ocean is relaxing for me. |

I would like to own my own forest and live off grid in a bungalow that has its own energy sources. And no internet signal!

That sounds awesome. You could watch the sunrise and sunset and the kitties would like it too. I hope you find that place soon.

I would have done well a century or so ago as a lighthouse keeper on some northern island or peninsula. Where the only visitors are only from the tender or rare vessel passing thru. As it is I live in the country. My neighbor who lives a half mile away built a pole barn for their ranch and put up a mercury light. I've imagined sniping out that stinking light pollution countless times. I get grumpy if we get traffic on our road. It's so bad. My husband and I dream of buying a few hundred acres (note: "dreaming") and living in a nice little cabin up north on a river - lakes are often too populated these days and I despise the sound of speed boats and echoed drunken voices. We would be deep enough in the woods to have a natural buffer, but enough light to have our garden, orchard, and bees. We'd have the land for hunting and the water for fishing, just have to make a supply run once in a while. Before my illness, I only went to town twice a month, I miss that. Ahh, dreaming...

I would like to be a nun in a secluded monastery. Singing in the choir all day, reciting hymns, working in the garden and reading and writing about the classics sounds like fun. That being said, I'm an atheist.

I sort of like my property the way it is mostly, so I'd move everything as-is, just to some place with no drunken neighbors.

I'm the opposite. I avoid direct contact with people like social gatherings, but still need to feel like I live in 'the world'. To this end, I surround myself with as many humans as possible to get what I call 'passive social interaction'. My dream home would be a loft or any place high up (I like wide open views) in a big city. Preferably in a place that has a nice climate. I like lots of light and warm weather.

I'm living in New York City and I love it. The old cliche "Lonely amongst millions" is real. It's very easy to hide here. I'd like to live in a taller building, however. Being on a 30th floor, overlooking the city and seeing all the people who can't access me in my space sounds so wonderful. Right now I'm just on the second floor of an old walkup.

My perfect situation: I am an invisible ghost. I could go wheverer I want, move whatever I want. Be with people and have fun around people without having to make a conversartion and without being judge. Also I wouldn't have to make a living, I would never be sick, and my actions wouldn't have so many consequences.
I could go to the theatre, I could go to concerts, I could learn how to paint, photograph or playing musical instruments. I am so tired of work and responsbility and not having time for my self. |

I'd like to live in a house that's in the forest as far away as possible from Earth humans, in the midst of nature people.

Currently live in a small town with some neighbors and 5 miles from a city where I shop and work. This works pretty well since it’s fairly peaceful and quiet. I’m avoidant by nature so it works ok, like to avoid noise, drunks, etc.
