...wished with all your strength you could know what people think about you?
Having a big void because inside you doubt that you may have some worth and all you want is someone to assure that it is true... Even so I might be never convinced. |

It's not so much a constant worry of what people think about me, like, I'm not sitting there thinking, "What do they think of me?" all the time.
But it's a deep-rooted, almost instinctual need to present a version of myself that I know they will approve of, despite how it may affect me, and to do whatever I can to get compliments from them so that I can reassure myself of my worth to others. |
