I have often found this to be true

I have found..

And the opposite can also be true.

(I no longer visit a site which is full of trolls and mean posters.)

I've also cut Narcissists out of my life who list and detail other people's perceived flaws yet have none themselves

Can anyone relate? (to any of this? )

Agreed.

If a website is or becomes too aggravating, I avoid it if possible. I have abandoned such sites in my time as a "netizen".

I have also "gone no contact" and "low contact" with difficult people.

Yep! Encouragement vs. Discouragement... Takes a lot of courage to be honest about flaws and misery and mistakes, and narcissistic abuses are out there hiding themselves and trying to weaken everyone they come into contact with. Hard to combat/avoid. Big bear hugs

Those people are everywhere, no matter where we go. I keep out of their way as much as possible. When I can't, I usually tiptoe around them the best I can. Many of them can be dangerous in various ways. I'm sorry you've been running into these kinds of people so much, Fuzzybear. They seem to deliberately target nonconfrontational types, probably because they're easier targets. I don't confront either, so I know. Hugs & love to you, Fuzzybear!!

I need to review my own history in light of this.

I try to avoid too, unless this is a problem, then do confront the issue. It's weird, cause I wouldn't say it's non-confrontational people they're avoiding, but people who don't break their cover. I think that breaking their cover in a non-confrontational way is what will really make them leave you alone.

Basically acting like they would. I don't like it, but I think if you're sure someone is that dodgy, if you give them the "I would never..."and "if anyone did...to me" superiority act, acting as dull and polite as possible, they really don't like it, and will leave you alone. They want people fazed and responsive to their every need, and if they can't faze you and get a response they're likely to look elsewhere.

I know how you feel. Reddit is place that bothers me a lot because they have down votes. It seems to attract aggressive people. These people used to make me so upset but now I'm working hard to ignore them.

Hi FuzzyBear,

Big Hugs from my teddies!

Yes - I am in a similar place now. The Narcissist's in my life have been shunned away to a large extent, although, there are many more of them on the periphery unfortunately, who have an interest in ruining my life still. I suppose that is what happens when you call them out on their abuse? Not sure if you all relate to that?

How did you manage to get rid of all Narcissist's in your life? Going no-contact isn't always possible when there are so many of them around us.

Thanks,
HD7970ghz
