Or, how about not feeling wanted even when others do want you around? Maybe because someone important to you early in life wasn't good at making you feel wanted?

Those who don't want you aren't worth needing.

Fuzzy, others may have made us feel not wanted in the past, but we are the ones who keep that feeling alive in the present by believing it now. You don't have to believe that any more Fuzzy! I am here to help support you breaking free of feeling like that, once and for all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You CAN do it!!!

You ARE wanted!!!!!!!!!!! And loved very much by all!

Yes! I know that feeling, exactly. That's how I feel every time I'm in the cafeteria, in day treatment looking for a place to sit in a crowd of people!
sometimes I eat in the bathroom!

Yes, we want you!

We love you!

Billi

exactly how i feel... often... including right now...
the sick part is that there's a part of my brain that believes
'what others think about me is none of my business..'

I keep flashing on the term 'inadequate'. There's something frightfully scary-lonely about that word, somehow, which is kind of weird, when you think about it sensibly. Who wants to be merely 'adequate'?

Maybe the reason it's such a scary term is that I want to be more than merely adequate, but feel I'm not even that.
Thanks for this!
