Hey all this is the first time ive posted here as Ive never had a need to but today I made alot of progress I feel. Ok first off I met with a T for the first time ever that took alot of guts I think I told her all about my sui thoughts and ideation and also how I realize things get better so its not like I want to do it because things get better, and they cant get any worse than some of my deep depressions and I survive those so I keep going. She understood and we talked about alot of stuff and I feel great today its been a good day. Tomorrow maybe different but Im going to live in today one day at a time instead of days or weeks at a time.

I also met a girl who I have been talking to for about a month and a half or maybe more but never had the guts to ask to meet but she suggested we meet in public and our town has this great gallery night music and art and vendors its great, never been before. Anyway I met this girl and she is awesome and nice and I am excited to see us hopefully become at least good friends and maybe more.

I just figured I would share Im super wound up tonight because of all this excitement. Just getting back out of the house not being depressed for once. Thinking the meds are working now or at least making things manageable. Life is starting to get better again. Going back to school, seeing a T, seeing my doc regular, feeling less depressed. Im so excited I seem to be finally making progress and I feel its a big step.

So much congrats! Seeing someone for help for the first time is so difficult, I'm really happy for you!
And congratulations on everything else, too! I'm glad so much is going well for you!
