I took a hot shower 🚿 today and it was extra long and soothing! I washed my hair and my body. After I got redressed I felt refreshed!

I took a shower today and wash my hair. such a chore takes me an hour from disrobing to dressed and hair dried, blow out. then styled.
nice when it is all done. Once this week. last showered was sunday of last week. what is it about showering? It doesn't hurt me to shower it is just a burden.I would rather not have to bath at all. But when I start to smell then I take a shower. or if my hair gets greasy. After 9 days of not showering, I finally showered tonight. I also washed and conditioned my hair. I was dizzy/vertigo in the shower, but I managed to finish. I even blow dried my hair afterward. I'm super tired now. I'm not ready to sleep, but I'm tired.

I took a shower today - early early in the morning - after doing a lot of chores and having to go outside to donate items, dump trash, and dump recycling. It was about 3:45 to 4 a.m. when I showered. I love that time of morning. If I could sleep around 6 p.m. and wake at 3 a.m. just to shower around that time and start my day at that time, I would. I tried that for a while, but then there were times when I had phone calls from friends and family on weekend nights or week nights, so it's not a consistent schedule I could keep. I tried to request that they only call me on weekends during the morning and afternoon hours, since I was trying to sleep earlier, but their schedules would not allow for that for some reason.
I now turn my phone on silent so that my sleep isn't interrupted, but I still have sporadic sleep patterns. My circadian rhythm is completely off; I think it operates on 30-hour days, as in another planet's daily system, LOL. I love showering in the morning because it helps me to wake up or to unwind and relax and finally get to sleep. I am a night owl, so I prefer to sleep during the day. Or maybe I'm just a vampire and don't know it.

I took a lonely shower yesterday11-12-21.
5 days now My hair is longer so I have to wash it more frequently.It was a week last week and my hair looked awful, I just said I had a bad hair day. I showered tonight. I live alone and have no pets (fur babies), so I always shower alone.
I washed and conditioned my hair, and I shaved. I did so because I ordered pizza, chicken (I'm low on potassium, so chicken provides that), diet pop, and cinnamon rolls. I know - not good, but I figured that if this is the last time I'm going to eat this stuff for a very, very, very long time, I might as well splurge a little and enjoy myself. Besides, I put in a lot more exercise than my myalgic encephalomyelitis can bear, so I know that I will be resting for a day or so after this. I also have more medical labs to deal with, so I wanted to take this time to self-care and celebrate. |
