I had my hair colored last friday so it was shampood then.
so that makes it 5 days not washing my hair. but it has been a long time since I have bathed.Think I will go back thru the thread to see if can find a post. BRB 9-17-23, Since tomorrow is my hubbys birthday I will make myself shower, that will be 10 days with out a shower.
That is the longest time in quite a while.

A lot of pleasurable sink baths lately right after cardio on the treadmill, cardio with sweat dripping off my forehead.

But no full body showers.

Oh well.

After walking more than 5K on a treadmill, took a shower, washed my hair, and went to the symphony's opening night. What a pleasant sequence of events!

I had a revelation in the shower this week. Because the stupid drain runs so slowly, i turned off the water after i washed my hair and face. Then i soaped up the rest of my body - and how PLEASANT it was without all those vicious little drops attacking me relentlessy and foiling my attempts to get soapy all over! It was like, all of a sudden, i wasnt in the middle of a mad rock concert or a wartime battlefield. I could be calm. And i calmly washed my legs and feet, the bane of so many youtube and other online rants: "Wash your legs!!!" Reader, I did.

A shower this morning. Washed and strangled my hair. Listened to an opera which made it easier to tolerate that a shower takes so long.

Didn't moisturize afterwards but did apply sunscreen to face, neck, decolletage and hands.

Did one hour of walking on the treadmill this evening. Not fast, at 2.6 mph, but still sweated a lot. Considered taking a shower but decided against taking a 2nd shower in one day. No, I will limit it to a sink bath and wash my face with a gentle cleanser after taking off eye makeup.

I think I am onto something, a solution to this problem.

Next to the little gym inside the clubhouse at the complex where I do cardio, there is a shower. I took a shower there once and I liked it better than taking a shower at home. Maybe because as a new place, it does not come with baggage and negative associations unlike at home, maybe because it is pleasant to hop into a shower straight after exercise while sweat is still warm, and maybe because at home I have a regular shower over tub and at the clubhouse there is a shower stall with a surface on which it is much more convenient to wash feet and legs (yes Unaluna! I want to also say to my reader that I have washed them).

So now I am putting together a gym bag with shower supplies, slippers, a towel and I will need some sort of a clean warm robe to walk back to my unit... have to figure this part out still.

Optimistic that this might be it for me.

Took a shower today and washed my hair, I did not
use enough hair spray so it all fell into my face.I had to constantly
push my hair behind my ears.
sigh

Took a shower and wash my hair. one week not bad. Ladies in the oldest days only took showers once a week. And It was hot and full of hard work. I don't think they had deodorant back then.

Waiting until I exercise to the point of sweat dripping to take a shower. Until then, sink baths for me.

It is my question, too. What to do with the hair. All the research shows that it is a good idea to shower in the evening because it helps you sleep via the mechanism which lowers body temperature following the shower (it is better to have a lower body temp when you need to fall asleep). But what about the hair??

I took my shower early enough that it had some time to dry without blow drying. I styled it a little bit and went to bed it was not to frightening when I woke up and I styled it pretty well.
maybe I could shower more often. I like my showers hot though.
I officially showered 11-12-23 pm. just to keep my self accountable.

That is OK to take them short. The body temperature falls after you have taken a hot shower.
