We'll not exactly no sleep. I get a couple of hours, but then I wake up at 3 am and that's it. I 'm up for the day. What is wrong with me?

I was born with a sleep disorder too. I take klonopin to go to sleep. If I don't take it I don't get tired and will stay up all night.

I only have serious sleeping issues when manic, and to a lesser degree when hypomanic. I think it has almost always been the case in my life, and is certainly the case in the many years of me taking good doses of Seroquel XR. On the rare occasions that doesn't work perfectly (when I'm manic or having serious anxiety/agitation), a number of things do tend to help me, including:
* Prn Ativan *Prn regular Seroquel or in milder cases, *My sound machine *Dairy products eaten/drank at night The latter two non-medicinal options can really make a difference for me. |

I don't get sleep if I'm overheating or if my mind is racing.

So long as you are not taking Lithium or are pregnant I would recommend Catnip tea. Catnip is the strongest herbal sedative there is and causes calmness and relaxation. It can be found online or in some tea's in stores like

I got up at 6 this morning and since I did, I feel good! However my eyes would like me to curl up into a ball and sleep another 3 hours.

trying to not rely on my klonopin so much since I was prescribed it. took melatonin and had some tea. but I still woke up and I'm wide awake now listening to a podcast and about to watch a spooky movie. thinking of using the Kpin only if my anxiety or panic gets bad. maybe not so much for sleep. I can get some over the counter stuff and try it out to see if I can stay asleep. wish me luck gang!
