I used to drink myself stupid every night when I was younger and now I drink nothing alcoholic. I have bipolar disorder and I am sober and I am a dad. My 34-year-old daughter will be a Professor of Japanese next year and I am retired from 25 years of college teaching, mostly part-time and some full time work. I earned 4 academic degrees in my life and now it’s time to be old.

First thing you need to do is join a senior club or gym where they have classes for seniors so you can socialize. That was the best thing I did. Mmm no the best thing I did was move to a senior high rise. It’s great.

Pop on over to the bipolar thread and check in on the check in. Much more movement than the other threads here. Welcome
