This sounds odd but I'm having more EPS symptoms (cramping in my hands, feet, calf muscles and side muscle) and I'm also having some kind of ibizarre urinary disorder where I'm having to pee every 60 minutes, 75 tops, and it's serious about it. I'm wondering if the bladder could be clamping down too?

Has anyone had this happen? I didn't find much about it when I searched.

I'm talking to my pdoc this week and my primary gets an email tomorrow (I just finished antibiotics that didn't help and he said I'll have to have more tests if I didn't respond to antibiotics.)

Anyway, thanks.

Sorry you're dealing with EPS symptoms, BeyondtheRainbow. I've had various types, but none that affected my bladder. I have, however, experienced polyuria/polydipsia, but from Lithium. It was beyond annoying and occasionally caused "minor accidents". I still have to go #1 a lot because I'm required to drink a lot of water because of kidney damage. But nowadays (off of Lithium), there isn't such desperate urgency. Do get that looked into. If it isn't due to EPS, it can be a sign of another underlying issue.

One of the side effects of the AP I take is frequent urination/urinary retention. I have to pee at least twice every hour (4 times during the night), yet the pee doesn't come out easily because of the retention. Plus, my mouth is so dry I drink an enormous amount of water every day, which of course, causes me to pee even more.

Not fun. And Cogentin doesn't help with the urinary symptom. A course of antibiotics was useless.

But I need the AP now because of extreme anxiety/panic that gets into the realm of psychotic.
