Hello, does anyone know if a common lamictal rash burns or hurts? I have been on lamictal for around 4.5 weeks and I am in so much pain right now. The worst part of this pain is the burning sensation. The only relief is to place a cold wet washcloth on my back. This rash is all over my body, around 55-60% coverage. The only place that is excruciatingly painful is a section of my back. But the rash is all over and is spreading day by day. I'm actually really concerned. Please, can someone let me know if this sounds like the common rash or something else?
Hugs from:

Please see my response in the medication forum.

Yes, the rash burns and hurts.

Boiled down: You need to call a dr ASAP. But I won't repeat myself completely.

Yes, if you haven't already done so, see your doc immediately! Or, in the alternative, go to an urgent care center or ER. I don't know how old you are, of course. But the other thing that occurs to me is Shingles. But, either way, seek medical care right away!

P.S. Welcome to MSF, Brittnmatt. I hope you find the forums to be of benefit.
