I felt great on it the first few days, got motivation to do things, but in my case it threw me into mania and psychosis so bad I ended up in the psych hospital (blacked out 4 or 5 days straight). If you're on it, hopefully it works better for you.

My insurance have not approved the caplyta yet. So earliest I will get the caplyta mid next week.i It's the lowest dose so even if I start taking it I have awhile before I move up to a therapeutic dose. I'm supposed to see the psychiatrist next Friday. But I asked for a new psychiatrist today so I have no idea when I will see them. Tomorrow I see if I get into the clinic or Monday. T hopes I get transferred soon within their program. I wanted to wait to see if I got to the clinic before changing psychiatrist but she insisted. I guess making others extra work is acceptable for me to get a physiatrist as soon as possible. So Monday I find out whether the AP was approved. I'll see Monday whether the medicine was sent. Depending on what happens Monday I may end up in urgent care MH clinic. My t wants me to think about that because I can get medicine that day. She also understands why I feel giving me pills are dangerous.

I've never been on it but my impression is that the sedation doesn't last long.

I'm glad you took it. You've been through so much lately. I can't imagine going through all that unmedicated.
