I am close to somebody who suffers from bipolar. She refuses to seek any help and her moods are slowly getting worse. I don't know what to do to help her because she doesn't denies there is a problem. I would just leave it but she is hurting everyone around her when she goes into low moods and it is dangerous for herself and the people around her. What should i do

The most you can do is to encourage her to see a doctor and a therapist. You can also educate yourself by attending DBSA meetings and NAMI meetings. DBSA stands for Depression Bipolar Support Alliance and NAMI is National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Both websites have a lot of support information so you can start there. Good Luck.
