I am now frustrated. I have thoughts that won't go away or at least had thoughts that won't go away. I also have fears about these thoughts and that is why. These thoughts go against everything I am about or stand for and now I have the fear of these thoughts. I have to realize this and relax and let the thoughts pass, but how do I do that. What has added to the frustration is that I am now in a manic state. How do I deal with the racing thoughts and the insomnia?

You have to get your mind to shut down as well as your body...I know it may sound silly but if you start out by telling your toes to go to sleep, kind of in your head, just toes go to sleep and then pause and tell your feet to go to sleep then your calf and shin, your thigh...and keep working your way up it helps relax you and often times can help you shut down and get to sleep.

Hugs,
Stormy
Thanks for this!
