I'm a total mess today. No one's fault. Didn't mean to dump on anyone. Just can't seem to get to feeling better. Tomorrow is another day...I'd like to fast forward to it.

Thinker, it is ok, we all have those days, we all understand, that is why we are here. Sleep tight and tomorrow IS another day, hopefully a better one for you, Jen
Thanks for this!

(((((((((((thinker))))))))))))
I wouldn't dare judge you. I got manic yesterday and wrote a whole post on how to be a better bipolar. I FAIL. lol.

At least you're not faceplanted into your food bowl!

Thanks for understanding. Yesterday my emotions were completely out of control. Sleep helps, but still kind of out of it today. Have to go to work in this state. I've not told my coworkers about my condition, so who knows what they think about the many versions of me that show up. Tired, shy, withdrawn at the moment. But then, sometimes I get triggered at work and turn hypomanic telling jokes all day.

I'm not the best poster child myself for being a better bipolar person. Just want my emotions to settle down long enough to be able to write again. I've not written anything new since February. To me, depressing poems don't count, and I've got enough of those to choke a water buffalo, make that a herd of water buffalo.

Thanks guys & gals

THINKER, I do not support you choking water buffalo. I think they are endangered. Furthermore, the best way to start writing again is to START. Do exercises for yourself like essays about ANYTHING. Compare contrast essays or just long drawn out observations. Journal. Describe the world around you. You can do it. I just started again. It's been a year.

I don't support choking any animals...except for maybe megalomaniacs who run evil empires...like a short dictator in N. Korea for instance. Muffling with a pillow would be too good for him.

Yep. I know I should just try. When I'm inspired I can just go and go and churn out a story or a novel chapter in an afternoon or two. Too stressed and overwhelmed and can't focus for very long these days. Can only write in my journal really. Nothing creative.

Thanks for the thoughts though. Need to get stabilized and stop having ideation before I can get back to writing. You know, like figure out a reason to go on living besides watering the plants and feeding the cat. That's my sardonic dry humor in case you were wondering the tone.
