I really can't help you until your meds get sorted out. I don't have another appt for 2 weeks. I guess he thinks they'll be sorted by then?
That got me to thinking. Is he not a very good therapist, or am I really that ****** up? Just sticking in my brain and won't leave.

He hasn't said it directly, but I got the feeling before I went on meds that he felt like his hands were tied because I was spinning the same stuff over and over every time I came in. Now he wants to see me twice a week and I think we will start some real work.

Yeah, maybe I should ask him to clarify what he meant by that when I see him again in 11 days. To me, he should say something like, it seems like you are suffering and need to get your meds sorted out so you can have a little relief and be able to talk about life skills and goals. I'm here for you of course, but our progress may be impeded because you're so distraught it's hard to talk about anything but the agony you're in.

Bipolar is LIFE THREATENING. If your pills aren't working and you've given them enough time to work, remember that you are a CUSTOMER. If you don't like what you've been seeing find another doctor.

Well, the p-nurse and my therapist are 2 different people. T said I should get a new p-doc. I agree. Hard to find one with any openings before a month or two out, though.

My T gets excited every time I get too excited and will hold the phone up for me until I call my pdoc. Sometimes I just stare at her and she gets more antsy. I was once told that you don't have to like your pdoc, just your tdoc. as long as he/she is doing his/her job.

I've made more phone calls in the past week and a half than I did in almost the previous six months. Not kidding. So many docs, bills, etc. And all need to be dealt with. I have to call the insurance to see if one of the meds people I called for a weeks or months off appt is on their list. I'm too tired to do it before work, and after, they're closed. Sigh. Tomorrow. Yet again.
I hate phone calls.
