I drive when I am high. Not high on drugs, high on mania. It is 11:45 p.m. and I am ready to go out and be busy. I feel unstoppable. I am trying to monitor myself better. Driving won't help this. My mom is in the hospital in the city with kidney failure. I've had stress ++ this last week. I am recovering from that emergency, but not well. Do I have a question? a question? Do you have a mania quirk? or sign?

Sounds like at least hypomania to me. For me, I feel like I can't sit still and MUST go do an activity or I'll explode. At least that's how my last hypomanic phase was (now I'm depressed). I also got angry easily and found great delight in various songs and pictures. I guess we all experience (hypo)mania differently.

I drive like a bat out of Hell when I'm manic. When I used to work 25 miles from my house, I'd fly down the freeway at 90 MPH with all the windows down and the stereo cranked up all the way. Sometimes I still miss that. But it's better not to be manic and take my life in my hands that way.

Driving while maniac is one of the most exhilarating things to do. That is until you get 28 points worth of tickets once you get pulled over.....Yes I know what **** luck.
